What to bring

It is important to be prepared for any activity. Below is a list of the items you will need during your activity course:

  • Packed lunch, snack and water bottle each day
  • Old, comfortable clothes – jogging bottoms, leggings shorts, t-shirts, jumpers, fleeces. NO denims as these don’t dry well and make you cold
  • Waterproof jacket and trousers
  • Walking boots
  • Wellies
  • Trainers + spare trainers for canoeing or gorge scrambling
  • Indoor shoes/slippers
  • A full set of clean clothes for after a wet or very dirty activity
  • Towel and wash bag
  • Separate bags for muddy clothes/shoes and for dirty clothing (named reusable shopping bags are ideal)
  • Sun cream, sun hat and insect repellent
  • Small amount of money for ice creams, sweets or souvenirs
  • Any medication they may need throughout the day, e.g. inhaler
