Friends of White Hall Centre
The Friends of White Hall Centre charity has been set up by a group of people who want to help support White Hall outdoor centre. The aim of the charity is to ensure the centre can continue to offer every child in Derbyshire, the opportunity to learn the skills they need to enjoy outdoor pursuits and feel safe and confident in our countryside.

Thomas Theyer Foundation
We work closely with the Thomas Theyer Foundation to achieve their aims of support children and young people with special educational needs and those experiencing difficult life circumstances.
The Thomas Theyer Foundation and White Hall Centre recognise the physical and mental health benefits of engaging in outdoor and adventurous activities and are working together to meet the needs of children with SEND / difficult life circumstances. This includes
- Designing and delivering outdoor education programmes tailored to meet the needs of children / young people with SEND / difficult life circumstances.
- Increase the inclusivity of the accommodation on White Hall’s site
- Provide respite breaks for children young people, their families and carers
